Abstract EN

This theoretical research aims to clarify the issue of evaluation under the direction of the competencies based approach.

So, evaluation is considered as a prominent aspect in the process of learning through its different stages.

Evaluation in fact, plays an important role in achieving goals which are already planned by the whole educational system.

In the past, evaluation used to be applied according to the old approaches which were to test just students 'background knowledge to take decisions which have relationship with scholars' paths.

Thanks to reforms, things have changed completely as we come to mention from the beginning; the competencies based approach brought much more accuracy and focus that its main target is to evolve student's capacities to be able to apply what they come to learn within problematic situations which are inspired from their real life.

What we are expecting from those who constitute the process of learning is to adapt with the new method especial evaluation which is our main aspect in this research under the custody of competencies based approach.
