Abstract EN

The present scientific paper aims to shed light on the culture of health prevention in the Algerian society under the spread of Covid 19 virus, by analyzing some practices and manifestations that are inconsistent with the rules and procedures for health prevention announced by the competent health authorities.

The whole of these measures represented in all kinds of hygiene, Social distancing, wearing masks, not gathering and others that are intended to protect individuals and prevent the spread of this virus, but it is noticed that these preventive measures were not effectively applied in most cases due to the ence of a health preventive culture, practices and behaviors observed during this crisis, such as not wearing masks, gatherings, family visits, weddings, and even the recklessness of these preventive measures indicate the ence of health culture, which forced the higher authorities to take strict measures against anyone who doesn't follow the announced health prevention to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

From this standpoint, this scientific paper aims to analyze the culture of health prevention in the Algerian society through some of the observed practices in Algerian society according to a sociological approach.
