In the present paper we will try to reveal the role of popular poet during the Algerian Revolution in motivating and orienting the Revolution to ward the struggle against colonialism by inciting the emotions of Algerian people when the voice of the eloquent poem was silenced by persecution and abuse made against Arabic language by destroying its centers and torturing its teachers to spread ignorance amongst people and make them a way from its identity.

That type of poetry was the best way to communicate and transfer information that serves the revolution and to reinforce the detour around it, and the best chronicler of the bloody events that look part between the colonial troops and the “Moudjahidines “ Fighters.

So, to what extent could this type of poetry replace the eloquent one play the role of the leadership that is supposed to assign it to the elite of the nation.
