Despite what has been written about the activity of the reform movement in Aures and its figures, the biographies of some of them are still unknown to those interested in the contemporary history of Algeria, such as Sheikh Ahmed Sarhani Timguellin, a student of Sheikh Abdel Hamid bin Badis and one of the founders of the Eurasian Division at Haidus in the Douar of Oued Abdi in August 1937, the subject of this study.
