Abstract EN

This study came to reveal the reality of the Ottoman Zawiya manuscripts in Tolga - wilaya of Biskra - in terms of the conditions of their preservation and the methods of their treatment, as well as the clarification of the scientific methods used to rehabilitate the affected ones due to various factors, using the method of interview and observation to collect data, as they are one of the descriptive methods Accredited to describe and analyze the reality of preserving and processing manuscripts at Zawiya.

It is concluded that the manuscript preservation hall in the Ottoman Zawiya enjoys decent preservation conditions and the great care, and this revealed that preventive measures still adopt traditional methods in combating biological dangers, especially insects.

And the most of manuscripts need to be restored and attachments, so it is better for those in charge of them to expedite taking appropriate action, as that damage is subject to expansion and spread by microorganisms.
