This research dealt with the sermon of succession by Abu Bakr and Omar - may god be pleased with them - a balanced rhetorical study; as he is interested in the rhetorical study of the text of the two sermons, and the balance between them in terms of aspects of agreement and difference, then the research began with a precursor that dealt with the historical aspect of the two sermons, then the study of the balance between them from two sides, the first: in terms of initiation, and the second: in terms of principles and values to be confirmed in both sermons, with linking rhetorical art for the purpose of who says, and how did the words and methods help achieve this goal? then how did these principles and values join hands with each other in achieving the main purpose of the person saying? the research concluded with a statement of the most important aspects of agreement and difference between the two sermons.
