Procedural safeguards within the scope of disciplinary action are of great importance in protecting the employee at all stages of disciplinary procedures, which is a fundamental right in fair disciplinary trials, the most important of which is the guarantee of the employee’s right to defend himself.

The defense guarantee is not limited in practice to the trial stage alone, but its umbrella and related aspects of protection extend to all previous procedures, starting with confronting the employee with the violation attributed to him, hearing his statements and citing witnesses.

The breach of the defense guarantee is out of innocence and the employee is innocent until proven violation and by relying on the disciplinary system.

It is like any legal system that is subject to the principles of legitimacy, so that all trials are controlled, the most important of which is related to ensuring the right of defense.
