Abstract EN

This research aimed to evaluate the policy of both the Emirati and Egyptian legislators in the criminal confrontation of propagating extremist thought through the use of electronic means, believing that it is dangerous for the individual and society.

It showed the images of the confrontation and the penalties prescribed for it.

The researcher followed the method of descriptive and analytical study of the texts of the UAE law compared to the Egyptian law.

The research was divided into three sections, the first of which dealt with the nature of extremist thought and the justifications for criminal confrontation, whereas the second section dealt with images of the criminal confrontation of propagating extremist thought using electronic means.

The third section, however, dealt with the criminal penalties prescribed for these confrontational images in the two laws under study.

The research ended with a set of results and recommendations through which the researcher aimed to remedy what has affected the behavior of both the Emirati legislator and his Egyptian counterpart in facing this issue.
