Based on rare original documents, this article aims to broaden and enrich studies on the Algerian revolution through the Egyptian newspapers published at that time, especially since it is a direct testimony through media coverage.

among the subjects followed by the Egyptian press: relations of the Algerian revolution with the Arab world one can therefore wonder how the Egyptian media dealt with the existence and importance of relations between Arab governments and the national liberation front to put an end to French colonialism in Algeria.

the study of Egyptian newspapers allowed us to know the Arab dimension that the Egyptian press gave to the Algerian question, in particular the joint activity of the leaders of the revolution with several Arab governments to support the Algerian cause, which made it possible to clarify the importance of the common Arab struggle against colonialism in Algeria as a strategic depth for the future of the Arab region.

we concluded that Egyptian newspapers were an important tribune to display and clarify the importance of the success of Maghreb and Arab initiatives in general to support the in Algeria.
