This artclle deals with what is considred a paradox in the thought of Al -Ghazali.

On the one hand he attackad the imposters of philosophy in Islam and at the same time adopted the Greek logic to the extent that he integrated it into the science of jurisprudence; knowing that logic considered a subject of philosophy.

therefore، this article attempts to explain this situation and shows the cogntive and ideological functions of Greek logic according to Al-Ghazali.
