Abstract EN

This article deals with the problem of modernity in the Arab and Islamic debate as acivilized human project, and trying to find the appropriata mechanisms to establish Arab and Islamic modernity, we will highight the reasons for attempt through the project of the Egyptian thinker Abdel Wahab EL-Mesiri a renaissance, he read the criticism of Western modernity and its consequences, in this way he attempts to reformulate the true meaning of modernity in theory and application in order to harmonize with tha Arab and Islamic envirment, emphasizing on reviewing the nature of man, and by i the restores him to his special status without the existing ones, and carries him from the narrowness of materialism to the spaciousness of human faith.

By standing on this intellectual project, we will try to find a way to legalize its application to our Arab reality.
