إن المحطات التي رسمت الاتجاه الخطي للفكر الغربي بدء من عصر التنوير، لعبت فيها الأيديولوجية دورا مهما في هذا الرسم القلب المقنع، الذي ترافق مع مجالات الحداثة و ما بعدها، و سرعة وتيرة التقدم الفكري و العلمي.
و بين تلك الخطى و الخطى العربية، تدور الحلقة الضائعة حول سير الحداثة العربية و التأسيس النقدي الغربي، و أمام الكثير من الأسباب لعل أبرزها الانقسام الفكري المعرفي العربي من اتجاه حداثي و آخر تراثي و بينهما حلقة مد و جزر لم تهتد إلى أي جانب.
يهدف هذا البحث إلى الوقوف على أسباب هده الهوة و النظر في مظاهرها، من أجل الوصول إلى حقيقة الجمود المحيط بالمجالات الفكرية و العلمية في المعسكر العربي.

The stations that charted the linear direction of Western thought starting with the Age of Enlightenment, in which ideology played an important role in this convincing drawing, which accompanied the fields of modernity and its aftermath, and the rapid pace of intellectual and scientific progress.
Arab and the Western critical establishment, and in front of many reasons, perhaps the most prominent of which is the Arab cognitive intellectual division from a modernist trend and another traditional, and between them there is a cycle of ebb and flow that has not led to any side.
