Algeria is one of the Arab and Islamic countries that contributed to making glories and heroics with its leaders, scholars and compilations, and among those who contributed to immortalizing their names in the golden record of this nation, the distinguished scholar and historian Moulay Belhamissi, who occupied a prominent position in the second generation of Algerian historians who emerged during the twentieth century and who contributed to modernizing the concept of history, studying and writing it.

the man has a group of books, including his book “Algeria through the journeys of Moroccans in the ottoman era”, which we devoted to a study through our article, and the author has another set of books where he placed in the hands of his readers a set of historical books which he explained from during it, how history is a living and vital topic that has a role in the culture and formation of society, and that nations are not built except by the history of their children.

and the approach he followed in introducing those books and the material they contained about that historical period, which he dealt with in this book.
