When the liberation revolution erupted, the Algerian people gathered around it in its various segments, and supported it financially and morally, believing in the necessity of a struggle to liberate the country from the grip of the French occupier.

by contributing to health services for the benefit of the revolution, and within this latter field, many Algerian doctors and nurses emerged in the ranks of the liberation revolution in response to the call to struggle and liberate the country from the clutches of the French colonizer.

their revolutionary activity, and among them were the Mozabite doctors and nurses whose names were documented by French administration reports and Arab and foreign historical writings.

among these doctors, I mention the Dr Tirichine Brahim, the Dr: Gaddi Bakir, the dr: Babaammar Djalmam Abderrahmane, and the nurse Meriem Abdeaziz.

dr Tirichine Brahim, Dr: Gaddi Bakir and nurse Meriem Abdeaziz were martyred among them in the ranks of the revolution in the mountains in fierce battles against the French occupation forces.
