Under the provisions of the united nations’ convention, the states parties have given a great importance to the annexed protocol containing the preventive measures to fight against the transitional organized crime especially the smuggling of immigrants, on the condition of concerting the international efforts to treat its causes and spreading.

the purpose of these precautionary measures is to deter illegal smuggling before happening.

these measures are in particular an exchange in information and a tight control of travelling documents at the level of the borders to prevent the intrusion of migrants, their deportation to their countries, their help and protection
