The choice of women to work is considered a new social phenomenon that has spread throughout the entire world; therefore, it requires that researchers and scientists pay particular attention thereto.

Besides, woman represent half of the society; thus, woman is of significant importance in the modern period, that characterises the era of women; consequently, the social and cultural change, that countries of the world have known, affect significantly the status of women and their jobs, whereat women obtained a great deal of social, economic and political rights, through benefiting from the obligation of education and training that have opened for her the doors to work in some fields that were reserved for men only, such as political and military fields.

In addition, the changes occurred in the economic structure of societies have allowed women to extensively participate in working life in all sectors.

In the light of which, several researches have been conducted for the purpose of seeking to find successful ways to help women to bring her family and professional life together, and these researches and studies have been subject to a conflict between supporters and opponents of the women's work; seeing that part of people believe that the choice of women to work has caused great damage to the family, whilst some other part considers that the women choice to work has significantly helped in raising the family's economic and health levels.

Above and beyond, Algerian womenhave witnessed, on their own side, changes in some roles due to the changes that have taken place in Algerian society, namely after independence period; therefore, this fact allowed her to conquer all fields and professional sectors, until she became in a position to compete with men for leadership positions and wills to reach decision-making positions; the fact of which has affected their social status.
