The study aims to identify the impact of adapted sports physical activity on the mental health of the category of people with special needs.

the descriptive approach was used.

the study sample included (20) individuals with special needs from the center for people with special needs in the Wilayat of Batna they were chosen in an intentional way, and as a data collection tool, the researcher used a questionnaire on mental health consisting of three axes, and the most important results indicated that the adapted sports physical activity has a positive effect on the mental health of people with special needs.
