The legal and institutional framework for renewable energies in Algeria.

Renewable energies are considered as a main source of energy out of hydrocarbons, and in addition, they are clean, renewable energies and ensure sustainable development.

In this context, and to ensure sustainable development and to diversify its sources, Algeria, like certain developed countries, has implemented a national policy for the promotion of this sector, as part of a transition to modern energies, by creating a legal and institutional framework to promote and upgrade them, in order to achieve global and sustainable development.
