Numerating and explaining the principles of inference is one of the most important aims that the science of the principles of jurisprudence seeks to establish.

Maliki School of law is considered to have more principles compared with others.

Consequently, Maliki scholars tried to demonstrate the authenticity of those principles.

However, Al-Maqari a well-known Maliki scholar denied the authenticity of some principles of the school.

He, for example, denied the principle that considers the practice of people, which was first known in Cordoba as he considers it as an innovation and evil.

In addition, Al-Maqari refuses the principle of Istihsan, the principle that permits exception.

Al-Maqari proceeds by supporting his view with arguments and proofs.

This article aims to numerate those principles that Al-Maqari denied.
