Summary: This article deals with one of the important topics in criminal law due to the nature of this topic and the authorities concerned with issuing the travel ban procedure.

This article aims to highlight the concept of the travel ban and its controls, as well as the authorities concerned with this procedure.

To the following conclusions: The Algerian legislator expressed the travel ban with what it means, which is the ban on leaving the national territory, and set controls for it, and singled out the criminal justice authorities without others, in the shadow of respecting the principle of individual freedom of movement and the interest of society.
