Since independence, the Algerian legislator has tended to adopt the system of stabilizing real estate ownership through the issuance of laws regulating real estate as a result of the chaos that has led to the situation of real estate in Algeria, as most real estate does not have the title deeds due to the lack of land survey and non-exploitation of real estate, which led to Many real estate disputes, these problems were singled out by the legislator with an important legal mechanism that would purify real estate ownership by introducing the real estate survey system.

The real estate survey process is an effective legal and technical mechanism and a tool for embodying the right of real estate ownership by enabling its owners to obtain real estate books and numbering system plans for the properties of owners and holders.

Therefore, this process is considered very necessary as a means to establish property ownership and stability, and to highlight the importance of this issue and its implications for policy.
