Abstract EN

The process of estimating the value of real estate and real estate rights that are required to be dispossessed for the public benifit in Algerian legislation is subject to a set of rules and controls stipulated by Law N° 91-11 amended and supplemented exclusively, whith is that compensation is fair and equitable that covers the entire damage caused and lost gain, and it is estimated according to the nature of these properties and their contents.

And according to their actual use a year before the pre-investigation of the public utility, with the exclusion of improvements made after this date.

This law also stipulated that the evaluation should be according to the real value of these properties and real real estate rights, based on objective evaluation criteria represented inadopting the free real estate market prices at the time the state property interests evaluate, and the standard of value resulting from the statements made by the shareholders in the tax.
