The researcher paid attention to the psychological and psychological dimensions of the characters of Momani's stories in her collection "I called her Maryam"; Through it, the inner world of the personality, its impulses and ideas are revealed; So that it can be sensed through its actual behavior in the structure of the stories.

Accordingly, the storyteller has taken a mask from her characters; To express her attitude and feelings towards the lived reality.

The most important techniques were employed: the stream of awareness, which highlights the psychological struggles of people, resulting from social changes and intellectual fluctuations associated with hesitation and anxiety or maturity and awareness.
