This research paper deals with the development and rooting of the linguistic term, and its reality in the Arabic linguistic discourse, as one of the important topics in modern Arabic linguistics; With its problems and theoretical disputes, especially after Western linguistics became a required science in many fields, and therefore familiarity with the linguistic terminological system became necessary, and it was what I suggested using heritage terms, because our scientific heritage is full of accurate and valuable terms, we had to increase From it, relying on these terms may undoubtedly spare us the Arabization of the terms, their translation, or their use as in their mother tongue.
