Abstract EN

This study seeks to explain the factors of social changes and intellectual collapse among the Muslims of Andalusia, especially the era of Muluk al-Tawaif (the kings of sects).

It also aims at elucidating the reasons that led to this, the deterioration in their public life, the decline in morals, the prevalence of poverty, the fear among people over their virtues as well as the spread of injustice and chaos.

this study dealt with this all these issues as it thoroughly depicted the lives of Muslims in light of this painful reality.

the researcher hopes that this study will be a serious contribution in explaining the factors and causes of intellectual collapse as one of the effects of moral weakness among the Muslims of Andalusia, especially in the era of Muluk al-Tawaif.

It also aims to explain the factors of scientific development that accompanied the intellectual downfall of the Muslims of Andalusia in that era, and explains the reasons that led to that situation along with the success and deterioration in their public life.
