The seek for ways to assure the world stability was always with such a remarkable importance, and that due to the strong bond between stability and the hight society values, which reflects the growing research progress in this field, taking into account the new factors that threaten international stability.

it is the reason why it could be manifested in an important aspect of security, “environmental security” in particular, as one of the most adopted and studied concept in theoretical framework of international relations studies as well as in the various international policy agendas, in order to reveal the most important variables related to environmental security that would affect the reality of international stability through threats of an environmental nature in the first place, which was the purpose of this research paper.

to show the strong link between environmental security in its various forms and stability in the world at its various levels, as a phenomena, teh global warming for instance, climate change, pollution and depletion of natural resources have become an impressive contribution to the solve several conflicts and wars and increasing the manifestations of instability in the world.

this subject would deserve a special attention in order to search for the means that would reduce the negative effects of environmental threats on stability.
