The contemporary era witnessed a new hegemonic control within the European sphere which was the most important phenomenon of the twentieth century.

it was called the totalitarianism or (the totalitarian state).

this issue led the philosopher Hannah Arendt to an attempt to understand and decipher it using her professional critical methods to unveil the crisis that shocked Europe in the twentieth century.

in 1951, the philosopher Arendt published one of her most important books “the origins of totalitarianism”.

it aimed at analyzing the various methods of totalitarianism in organizing oppression and dehumanization of people.
