The Nusayris sect is one of the Twelver Imami Shiite sects.

It was taken from the Levant as its stable.

Its emergence was in the middle of the third century AH.

It had linked various relations with its neighboring sects, but its relations with Christians were more distinguished, as many historians believe that These Nusayris have derived their beliefs and customs, mostly from Christians, based on what they saw from them celebrating Christian holidays and adopting some Christian titles as well In this research entitled Nusayris and Christianity in the Levant (a study in the history of relations between the two parties during the centuries 03-06 AH / 09-12 AD), we try to go over the most important stations of friction between the two parties, to find out the validity of the theory of the Christian origin of Nusayris, especially since the period of wars The Crusades that targeted the Levant during the 06-05 AH/11-12 CE centuries, and the rapprochement that occurred between the two parties, also gave the impression that the Nusayris sect is rooted in Christianity based on the data contained in this regard that we will refer to in the coming research.
