The study aims to know the obstacles to scientific research at the Red Sea University in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of the faculty members.

The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population consisted of (200) faculty members, and (100) faculty members were selected to represent the study sample, and the questionnaire tool was used for the study sample.

For data analysis, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used.

The most important results indicated that the obstacles to scientific research at the Red Sea University in light of the Corona pandemic, as seen by faculty members, were to a large extent in all fields (financial, arbitration and publication, administrative, and information gathering obstacles); Where it ranged between (79.

The study also found the ence of serious official interest in scientific research, the scarcity of revitalizing procedures for scientific research, and there is no support for cooperation between the various research centers.

The researchers recommended the necessity of developing scientific publishing, increasing the number of journals issued annually, and selecting arbitrators who enjoy integrity and objectivity, and who adhere to deadlines in research arbitration.
