The phenomenon of statelessness still poses major problems at the level of the international community and at the level of the stateless in itself, and there are many internationalefforts to confront and reduce this phenomenon and protect the stateless, and this is through finding just legal solutions that guarantee this category's existence with live in dignity like other people.

In this research, we shed light on the efforts of the Algerian legislator in this field through the provisions he brought in the nationality law, especially after the 2005 amendment to assess the adequacy of these texts in combating the phenomenon of statelessness.
