This article deals with the issue of the development of natural sciences among Arab Muslim thinkers, especially in the field of literature of composition and classification.

this literary and scientific art, which has known several different stages regarding the course of its development, where Islamic scholars contributed with their works and achievements in enriching the civilizational library and in spreading those sciences on the widest scale.

the European world has benefited greatly from this Arab and Islamic contribution, due to the interest the orientalists gave in clarifying the status of doctors and scientists in the Islamic world.

we also tried to highlight the most important features and characteristics of this literary art, which is the literature of authorship and classification in the field of natural and life sciences.

with a brief mention of leading intellectual and scientific models in the field of authorship and classification movement among Muslims.

in the end, we referred to some historical evidence that shows the role of Arab Muslim authors in the field of natural sciences, medicine, plants, and animals, allowing the presentation of bright models in the art of authorship and classification in Islamic civilization.
