Abstract EN

This research dealt with the topic of the contribution of Waqf financing to social development by analyzing the experience of Awqaf financing for the Awqaf properties investment fund (APIF) of the Islamic development bank between 2018 and 2020.

it concluded that this funding support allowed the revival of many Awqaf projects in the Islamic world, and the financial institutions supporting it have also benefited, to show us the size of the development benefit that results from financing Awqafs and investing them on the individual, society and financial institutions, it becomes clear that the Wqaf is an important mechanism for Islamic economic integration in finance and development.
