The study proposes a new theoretical direction and approach to the study of terrorism and security in international relations.

it is the product of social interactions between actors and argues that terrorism is a kind of social relationship.

by focusing on the role of social / cultural factors, without neglecting the role of physical factors in interpretation, it offers a better understanding and interpretation of terrorism as a non-state actor than traditional theories in international relations, which focus on the state as a basic actor and unit of analysis, rendering them incapable and suffering in interpreting global cross-border terrorism.

building on its arguments about the primacy of identity and the social construction on physical strength and economic rationality, it is better suited to explain, understand and interpret issues related to terrorism.
