The jurisprudence in favor of arbitration is based on quite a few justifications to support the trend calling for resorting to arbitration to carry out the task of settling disputes that arise between the parties to the dispute in general and oil contracts in particular, the special advantages of arbitration also did not prevent the unanimity of its adoption as a mechanism for settling oil disputes, as the views on it differed between those in favor and those against it from different countries.

therefore, the researcher must decide the suitability of arbitration as a means of settling disputes in the field of petroleum contracts, which is not an easy thing.

however, this does not preclude giving different opinions in this field, given that energy contracts in general are the predominant industry in Arab countries including Algeria.
