This study examines the effects of settlement on the resistance of Emir Abdelkader, as it was directly affected by those settlement centers established by the French authorities, as they lost the popular rally around them after these centers became tighter on the movements of the resistance men, and narrowed their sources of supply, and accordingly This study targets the aspects of the challenges faced by the resistance of Emir Abdelkader.
