The discovery of prosody was a distinct historical event in the history of Arabic poetry, as it referred to the musical structure on which this poetry is based, and directed to its components in a way that allows representation of the principles and rules that control; And the hypothetical relationships between the components and the functions entrusted to them, as well as the forms of deviation, and their reasons.

This research – based on the structural, stylistic approach - aspires to evoke the personality of Arabic prosody according to the problematic: to what extent do we succeed in treating prosody as a system, according to the modern linguistic term? for an objective analysis, we relied on the referential concepts orelied on the referential concepts of:, Structure, Properties of the structure, system, Deep structure, Surface structure as study and pawning tools
