Speaking of the contributions of ancient Algerian scholars in the field of language in general, and rhetoric in particular, requires us to identify the old corpora interested in rhetoric.

we are going to illustrate these contributions through study and analysis.

our choice fell on one of the prominent Algerian scholars in rhetoric who had great contributions in this field, imam, linguist and jurist Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn ʻAbd Al-Karīm Al-Maghīlī.

the reason for the choice of this topics lies in the fact that most of the previous studies focused on the literary and jurisprudence aspects.
