The current study aims to try to identify the relationship between literary and linguistic research and social research, so both the concept of research and the nature of literary and linguistic research have been addressed, the nature of social research and, finally, the relationship between literary and linguistic research and social research.

it has been shown that the relationship of literary research with social research is as old as human civilizations, poetry derived its themes from the daily lives of individuals, especially during wars, crises and disasters, as social studies benefited from the contributions of researchers in the field of literature and language, linguists studied language through social life, and this in turn enriched the field of social studies.
