Abstract EN

This research paper seeks to shed light on the cognitive roots and the basic backgrounds from which the historical method emerged (in the west), and the search for the extent to which the Arab critic invested in this direction, with exposure as well to the most important Algerian critics who adopted this approach, by focusing on the Algerian monetary code and specifically the experience of the critic Abdul-Malik Murtad through his book (the dictionary of Algerian poets in the twentieth century), and the aim of it was to reveal the totality of opinions, perceptions and concept that the critic added in his author, following the historical method.
