The aim of our study is to explore-through the research of Professor Ahmed Fawzi al-Haib-about the scientific and methodological paths that he employed in order to do justice to the literature of the Mamluk era and to show the ingenuity of the poets of this era, and to identify the reasons for the hidden literary weaknesses of the elements of innovation.

This study is summarized in the analytical and applied reading of some of the poems from the Diwan of Ibn al-Wardi that our researcher dealt with in an attempt to deduce and organize those scientific and methodological mechanisms in order to model the applied approach adopted in the study, analysis and criticism of the literature of that stage.
