Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight on the topic of financial technology, and make an attempt to address its reality in the Arab world, by clarifying the conceptual framework of financial technology and the requirements for its establishment, and to identify the most important achievements made by Arab countries in order to establish this industry, in addition to highlighting the various opportunities and obstacles facing financial technology in the Arab environment.

the study concluded were the presence of awareness among Arab countries about the importance of financial technology, which led to many efforts that would facilitate and enhance the establishment of this industry in the Arab economies, in parallel, the new technologies index has been developed to assess and monitor these efforts, the most important recommendations were summarized in the necessity of accelerating the process of digital transformation, as it is the basis for the establishment of financial technology activities.
