Abstract EN

The theatre is considered as one of the cultural means that marked and still marks such a presence as a cultural scene in various countries.

as a literary genre with such an aesthetic of text, performance, setting and realization, alongside other didascalia, theatre targets its audience with a message of extreme symbolic charge and value, that it becomes the influencer of people, even their spokesperson.

from this point of view, this paper aims to highlight the value of children's theatre, firstly by describing its definition and emergence in Algeria, and then by demonstrating its objectives and its influence on the values of the Algerian child, through a descriptive and analytical study.

finally, we will conclude with the major role that theatre for children plays in anchoring moral, aesthetic, educational and learning values in the child.
