Abstract EN

Through the article on the relationship of Greek philosophy with Islamic theology, we try to analyze the most important theses and stances included in orientalist studies on the subject of the origins of Islamic discourse theology and the extent to which it was affected by Greek philosophy.

the importance of the research lies in highlighting the extent of objectivity and scientificness of the orientalist research and opinions related to theology, in order to crystallize a clear idea about the most controversial sciences among Muslims themselves and between Muslims and others.

we will work on clarifying the objective and subjective motives that resulted from these orientalist views.

the research concluded that Islamic theology is the product of a mixture of Muslims’ creativity and their doctrinal peculiarities, and their benefit from incoming philosophies, especially Greek philosophy, which contributed to its development later.
