Through this study, we will discuss the extent of the impact of the corona virus on foreign investment contracts, this virus that has greatly affected the lives of citizens in general and the international and national economy, and the state resorts to implement its economic policy to adopt foreign investment, whether direct or indirect, this is done by contracting with foreign investors, the investment contract guarantees a set of mutual obligations and rights between them, however, when implementing this contract, circumstances outside the scope of the parties may arise that may impede its implementation, and these circumstances, according to the general rules, are nothing but an emergency circumstance, or a force majeure, that may make the commitment exhausted or impossible to implement, an example of this is the emergence of the corona virus, which greatly affected the implementation of contracts.

the study concluded that declaring a state of health emergency greatly affected the implementation of contracts, until it made it impossible and not exhausted.
