This study aims to clarify the role that the principle of good faith plays as a constraint on the freedom of the parties at the stage of forming international trade contracts in giving legitimate confidence to the process of preparing the terms of the final contract, so that the latter is balanced in the rights and obligations it arranges, taking into account the interests of the parties so that no disputes arise regarding it in the implementation phase and to continue cooperation between the two parties in the future.
