Abstract EN

This study aimed to clarify the economic importance of tourism as a necessary area for development; particularly in countries that have good environmental and cultural elements such as Algeria, especially after the success of the Turkish experience in this field, where we focused on the descriptive analytical approach with reliance on various official websites in collecting study data.

The study concluded that tourism in Algeria did not receive enough attention to promote it as an active sector in development; Tourism overlaps with several areas such as transportation, basic facilities, public facilities and various places with cultural landmarks, which in turn require significant attention, and the absorptive capacities of hotels and tourist facilities in Algeria are weak; The study concluded that it is necessary to work on the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for the advancement of tourism based on the creation of the various sectors and fields intertwined with it, in addition to enhancing the absorptive capacities of the various tourist facilities, taking into account the quality of service and the reduction of costs, which, in turn, constitute the most prominent points drawn from Turkey's experience
