The study aims to attempt to give an analysis of the repercussions of the double shock represented by the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and the collapse of oil prices, on human development in the Middle East and North Africa region, and in light of the current global economic situation, which is characterized by instability, internal balance and the accumulation of external imbalances and for to carry out this study, we relied on the descriptive analytical method, and we concluded that the spread of the Corona virus pandemic and the collapse of oil prices affected all aspects of the economy in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, including agriculture and commercial and non-commercial services where most low-paid workers and women work therefore, the authorities in the region must address the double shock by focusing on responding to health emergencies and working to create sufficient and rapid opportunities for productive work, At the same time, achieving equity in the distribution of benefits generated by economic growth.
