The problem of waste management is one of the issues of increasing concern on the part of governments and countries in regard to the negative effects left by waste on the environment and individuals health, which necessitates the development of policies and mechanisms in a way that contributes to reducing their negative effects and ensuring greater protection for the health of individuals and the environment, where recycling is one of the approved methods of exploiting and valuing waste.

This paper aims to present some experiences of Algerian companies in this field, and suggesting appropriate solutions to reduce waste in Algeria.
