Budget policy is the most important policy adopted by countries, especially developing ones, in Budget policy is the most important policy adopted by countries, especially developing ones, in achieving their economic objectifs, including the economic growth.

The study aims to find out the effectiveness of the budget policy in achieving economic growth in ALGERIA during the period: 1990-2020, based on (OLS).

It has been concluded that growth is not affected by public expenditures as they are based on operating expenses and are not productive, but on the other hand there is a positive relationship through the impact of tax policy on economic growth in the short and long term, and therefore the impact of budget policy on growth is weak and relative.
