Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the availability level of global leadership dimensions for principals of basic education schools in north al Sharqiyah governorate in the sultanate of Oman in the light of the Gordon model, study used a descriptive method, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (261) teachers.

the results of the study reached that the availability level of global leadership dimensions for principals of basic education schools in north al Sharqiyah governorate in the sultanate of Oman in the light of the Gordon model came generally high ; they also came high of all dimensions : adaptation and innovation, cultural intelligence, relationship building skills, analytical and emotional intelligence, intercultural communication, and strategic, financial and organizational abilities.

the results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the moderate estimates of the study sample of teachers due to gender variables in favor of males, years of experience in favor of less than 10 years, job title and in favor of a teacher’s job, while there were no such differences in qualification variable.
